Absolutely. The beauty of doing somatic (body) healing, releasing trauma stored is a very individual process. While you can be in a group setting, you are working with your body, where you are at today. All of our activities, workshops, and experiences are designed for all stages of healing

You’ll find some intensives where the focus is on new healing work which can include: what is betrayal trauma, how can I heal, how do I manage the crisis of today, etc. This intensive is not designed with this focus. While all of that is extremely helpful if you’re in those beginning stages, you can also get this information from podcasts, groups, and your individual support. This intensive has a deeper focus on moving beyond the learning, and leaning in to experiencing healing. If you are unsure if you’d be a good fit, feel free to call our team at 702-277-9145.

If you are interested, there will be some individual pull out sessions throughout the intensive where you can experience brainspotting or a reiki sound bath at no additional cost.

There is an optional nature walk which will include a .85 mile walk on flat gravel to a rivers edge, and then a .85 mile walk back to the parking lot. To get down to the river, there is a short slope to walk down where if needed, our team will assist in getting down the hill. There will also be a gentle fitness class on moving your body through trauma as well as a yoga class. Both classes are optional and can be modified for any activity level.

A workshop usually includes some teaching and some experiential activities which could include drawing, role playing, creating art, journaling, discussing, etc. The difference between a workshop and a presentation is that a presentation is just sitting and listening, and a workshop includes more involvement.

Absolutely. You will always have the autonomy to choose to opt in or out of any activity with no pressure.

Yes. Dinner will be provided on Wednesday night. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will include lunches together. Breakfast and dinners those days will be on your own. We will have snacks in the office, but we encourage you to bring any other food or snacks that you wish. The office has a refrigerator that you are welcome to use.

If you have special dietary needs, please let us know by email
