There are times in life when we may feel stretched beyond our limits, in need of repair. When we feel hopeless that things will get better. During these difficult times it can be hard to ask for help. When you take that first step of reaching out, I’ll come along side of you and aid in your journey towards healing, balance, and wellness. I will collaborate with you to help guide your journey, as we work together to find health and happiness.

Having walked the path of betrayal trauma as well as addiction, I am uniquely qualified to understand both sides of couple’s struggles. I offer research-based treatment that teaches you the skills for sustained recovery. If you’re willing to do the work between sessions, you can learn how to get your life back on track. You may feel stuck, but that doesn’t mean you are stuck.

I am a therapist intern and life coach who has walked the path of betrayal trauma. As a mother of five, wife of a recovering porn addict, and director of the WORTH program (www.healingwithWORTH.org), I specialize in working with individuals and couples trying to heal from infidelity. With my husband Luke (director of Men of Moroni) we travel sharing our personal stories of hope and recovery from addiction and trauma.

If you find yourself stuck, confused, or in need of additional support, please give me a call. You don’t have to do this alone.

Luke Gordon

Luke Gordon

Luke Gordon is an addiction recovery coach who has taken his lifelong experience in addiction as a tool to help other men. With over six years of sobriety and recovery, he is helping others find their way out of the hole of addiction.

His expertise lies in pornography addiction and understanding betrayal trauma. His experience includes being the director of the Men of Moroni program and a missionary for a LDS Addiction Recovery Meeting. He has also spent the last two years being invited to speak in women’s recovery meetings to help women understand how an addicts mind thinks as well as offer validation for the pain they are in.

The pain of addiction drives Luke to help others. He explains “I led a life of always watching my own back because of the fear of who I really was. I was afraid that if people found out what I was doing, they would no longer accept me. Every time I was with my wife and she looked at my phone, fear shot through me. When everything came to a head, I was terrified that others would see I was broken. The entire time I had treated myself as the enemy. I discovered that I was fighting the wrong person. I assumed my choices reflected the person that I was internally. I didn’t want to be that person, but somehow I kept repeating the same mistakes and was left with a sense of hopelessness. Being so determined to hide, I couldn’t see that the only thing that was going to help me was to come out of isolation. I couldn’t do this alone. “

You don’t have to do this alone either.

Amie Woolsey

Amie Woolsey

Realizing how much work it takes to heal or navigate life with an addict can feel overwhelming and lonely. I am here to tell you that you are not alone. There is hope and healing available if you choose to invest in yourself.
I did not grow up thinking I would be the wife of an addict or that I would have a husband who was unfaithful and abusive. No one prepared me for that. So, when I discovered my husband’s infidelity and pornography addiction, the shock and fear were almost debilitating. I was confused–not knowing how I felt, or not really feeling at all. I was left wondering what to do and where to even begin. I was minimizing the abuse and making excuses for him and blaming myself. I remember believing that if he would just change and get better, then I would feel better. I now understand that feeling better is not contingent on his choices, and neither was my healing.

The decision to end an 18-year marriage was not easy. I worked hard for years trying to “fix” it. However, I knew that it was necessary in order for me to ever be whole again. Learning to trust myself, believe once again in my intuitions, and value my worth was priceless to me.
It was also difficult to leave an abusive relationship so I understand the fear and complexity around that.
I believe that divorce is never the first choice or desired outcome. However, I know that God desires us to be happy and healthy in every capacity. So, my focus will be the same for you. Helping you to see that you can create your own happiness and be healthy once again whether you are married or not because it IS possible!

I know that living life after divorce as a single mom can be the most frightening aspect of all. My experience and education during this time in my life brings great value to my coaching.

I have since remarried and am experiencing what a healthy marriage looks like for the first time in my life, which adds another element to my coaching tools. Together we have 7 children ranging from 24 to 7 years old. I know that because I invested in myself and in my own healing, life is better than I ever thought possible.

I bring with me key principles and tools that have blessed my life in my long journey and continue to bless me each day. I have found these same principles are implemented in WORTH and Choose Recovery Services, making it a joy and privilege to be affiliated with this group. I invite you to invest in yourself too!

Seth Bowman

Seth Bowman

Seth Bowman is a life coach who has come up through the Men of Moroni program, gaining a deep understanding of its principals and how they can change lives. He is passionate about sharing the tools and knowledge that has changed his life and given him the power to choose the personal, marital, and family life he has always wanted. Coming from a place of darkness and despair, Seth wants to bring others out of the same personal prison that is built from hiding, lying, isolation, and addiction to fully live in the light. He says:

“Through my journey back to wholeness I have learned many principles and tools. I have come to understand how my actions have hurt and affected my wife. I have learned how and continue to learn more ways to support her through her journey and how to be the husband and father I always wanted to be. As a mentor and coach, I love helping other men to find these principles and tools that will help them to come out of the darkness of addiction and be able to support their wives as they deal with the effects of their actions. There is hope and healing available but it comes through understanding and seeing the pitfalls that litter the path back toward the light and learning how to navigate them.”

My philosophy is strength and healing comes when an individual truly understands their personal worth to God and knows how to connect with Him. I believe nothing heals us more than feeling the love of God in our personal life.

This, for me, has released the shame and guilt I have had for my own challenges in life. It helped me turn my own life “MESSES” into a “MESSAGE” of HOPE and HEALING. I find I am continually re-qualified and sanctified in my own life journey as I have been able to accept the things I cannot change and work with Christ to change the things I can. I cheerfully do all things that lie within my power, as stated in D&C 123:17, and find this pattern, if practiced daily, does yield the promise of seeing the salvation of God in my life.

I would love to support you in your own journey and can do so from a place of understanding as I have been through my own experiences of trauma from betrayal and abuse, supporting children in addiction, recovery from divorce and successfully navigating a blended family. I have even learned to love the body I have been given and I use it to increase my personal power.

I am a certified Eternal Warrior Mentor and serve on the Executive Board. I founded and facilitate the Mothers Who Know Program as well as the Parent Support programs at Life Changing Services (LCS). In addition, I created and taught the Parent Training courses for parents who have a child in recovery. Through these programs, I have been able to support hundreds of women on their own journey to healing over the past 7 years. I recently authored the Parent Section of the Like Dragons Did They Fight, a book by Maurice Harker, CMHC, and Momma Trauma: Now What? Finding HOPE when your child battles pornography or other challenging issues.

My degree in Recreation Therapy and my years of working in the health care industry with special populations has given me unique insight into the power people have in accepting and overcoming weaknesses.

I am passionate about people and I love helping and encouraging others to find their OWN answers. I specifically work with women of all ages and have come to see them as God’s secret weapon for incredible good. I firmly believe GOD IS THE LIFE COACH and I am a helpful facilitator through my own experiences.

Please schedule a complimentary 30 minute coaching session where you can decide if we are a good team!

My drive to be a life coach comes from my personal experience with betrayal trauma. During a difficult time in my life I felt so alone – I believed there was no way anyone would understand what I was experiencing. Through support groups such as WORTH I learned that this is one of the Adversary’s favorite tactics. He works in shadows and isolation and his power comes from secrets – so I work daily to bring things into the light, build connections, and draw my power from truth. As your life coach, I will empower you to do the same.

I first found WORTH as an answer to my own prayers in a time of need. I have participated in the clinician-led groups for both WORTH and WORTH-Divorce. I have helped plan and implement the mentoring program, taught in the psycho-educational WORTH Foundations class, organized, ran and taught in the WORTH Thrive psycho-educational class, acted as a Sister – in – Arms to a number of women, and I currently co-mentor in a WORTH Mentor-Led Divorce group.

I’m working hard as a single mom and recently became an in-home, state-licensed daycare provider as I go to grad school for my Clinical Mental Health Counselor degree. My girls are in the terrible twos and 8 going on 18.

I am a mentor to many married and divorced women. I believe that divorce is never the solution to a problem; however, it can be an answer to a prayer. Whether you’re still in your marriage, contemplating divorce, or experience the aftermath of a divorce, I would love to walk side-by-side with you and remind you of the tools that God has already created for your peace and safety. Regardless peace is possible, hope is out there, and the power to overcome has already been promised to you – let me help you find them.

You aren’t alone – you’ve got this – I can help.

Sy is an addiction recovery coach who, from a lifelong experience of addiction has decided to give back the tools he has learned to lift others to the freedom he has felt from his own personal recovery. Sy not only knows the pain of being an addict but also knows the lonely feeling it brings and wants others to know there is hope in conquering the emotions that come from being an addict. Sy is also an ultra-marathon runner and knows what it takes to conquer one’s own voice in his head that tells him to doubt and to just give up. He takes his addiction recovery and running experience into his coaching to help others know that they too, do not have to be stuck in the dark deep hole of despair like he has been. Sy also knows the struggles addiction brings to a marriage and has had to fight to keep his marriage and family together.  He has had to learn very rapidly how to maneuver the trauma he has caused his wife and how to help her feel seen and validated.

“I remember feeling like I was very hopeless and stuck in a dark hole that had no light and no way out.  Then all of a sudden something yanked me around in a different direction and I was able to see light.  Then there was a hand pulling me toward the light.  It was very uncomfortable, to begin with, and is still at times very hard but the warmth the journey of recovery brings is so worth it. My recovery has become about being the best version I can be, that God wants me to be. And that’s my focus and it has brought me out of the depths of despair.”

Hi! I’m Staci! I bet you never envisioned yourself in this place. I know I never did. It can be overwhelming and isolating. I want you to know something very important….you aren’t alone! There is hope and healing if you choose to work on YOU. This journey is a challenging one but not a hopeless one. It is incredibly brave to reach out, become vulnerable and ask for guidance. I would be honored to help you navigate your journey towards healing.

I never thought I would be the wife of an addict. I never thought my husband would be unfaithful to me. I never thoughts words like pornography addiction, sex addiction, gaslighting, abuse, and trauma would be part of my story.  When I discovered the truth of my situation, I was debilitated. I was very confused, even felt crazy at times, and had no idea where to even begin. I kept thinking “If only I had been ENOUGH” this wouldn’t have happened to me.

I worked hard for many years to “fix” my marriage but when my husband retracted his committed to recovery, I knew I had to move on with my life in order to be whole again. Leaving my marriage of 18 years and worrying about how it would affect our children was the most terrifying thing I have ever done. I believe divorce isn’t the first choice or the desired outcome in a situation like this, but I know that God wants us to have joy and to be healthy. My main goal is to help you see that you can create happiness again wherever you are at.

I recently graduated with a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am currently working toward licensure. I’ve spent countless hours studying betrayal, counseled 1200+ hours in my internship, and led many support and divorce support groups. For the last 3 years I have been working as a Certified Betrayal Trauma Coach. I’ve helped many women who are working hard on their marriages preparing for disclosure, those who are contemplating divorce, and those who are experiencing the aftermath of divorce. Whichever path you are on, I’d love to walk with you, support you, and help you reclaim safety and peace.

Shawn is an addiction recovery coach who has spent his entire life battling with sexual addiction. He has
made it his life’s mission to help others find recovery and healing from those poor choices that are
associated with sexual addiction. He has been working his own journey of recovery and healing since
2017 and is excited to walk the path of recovery and healing with you.

Shawn spent nearly 4 decades battling his addiction. He understands the pain and shame that sexual
addiction causes and the associated trauma to those around him, especially the betrayal trauma of the
spouse. He used pornography as a way to numb and disconnect from emotions and feelings and knows
the isolation and loneliness that comes from living in secret.

“The hardest and scariest thing I ever did was face my demons and my addiction. I knew this was a
secret I had to keep until the day I died. If anybody found out, or worse, knew who I really was, they
wouldn’t like or love me. This thought was especially true for my wife. I spent years and years hiding
behind a mask, thinking I was the only one who was dealing with this. I hit my rock bottom and needed
to change. I needed to come out of the shadows and into the light. That’s when the miracle happened
for me. My recovery hasn’t been easy. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve done things wrong. I’ve been focused
on the wrong things. About the only thing I did right was never give up and stop working. What was my
secret? I found people who had gone before me that I could lean on and learn from. I found connection
to my higher power. I found who I truly was behind the mask. I found my life again. If I can do it, you
can do it. I’ve been where you are. The cure for sexual addiction is connection. I’m here to walk with
you and show you the way.”
